A promising but overcast start to the day, the forecast had been for rain all day it seemed. But sadly it didn't stay dry all day and rain diminished the crowds; but it didn't dampen their spirits.

For me it was a pretty drastic test of my new little compact. OK so I say new it's into it's second festival, but it's the first time it's been really pushed to the limit. And under these weather conditions it really was.
Canon have made something really nice in the G10/ G11. So hats off to them for allowing me to own a camera that I can "risk" in the rain.
