With so much to see and do in Edinburgh the only way to truly get a taste of what the Fringe is all about is to experience the High Street at Festival time. With everyone out promoting or performing to draw the crowds for their show on the street or their show in a venue.
This year the High street has filled early with casts, crews and promoters. The regular Edinburgh based street performers know its there all year round, but only a hardy bunch try pulling shows in the depths of January or February.
Edinburgh is this truly international stage, where the world looks and listens to whats hot at the Fringe. Why come to Edinburgh, travel thousands of miles, and put on a show and not recouple your money as some people do? Because the Fringe matters. Edinburgh Fringe matters.
