If it's August expect a bit of rain. That would be good advice to anyone coming to Edinburgh for the Fringe. For me that means being prepared, but alas not today. Yes I had umbrella to hand. But sadly I'd put on my oldest trainers, they leak. No in fact they don't leak they hold water, so wandering around on the High street in the rain is like wadding in water for twelve hours.
Reminder to self buy new trainers.
The mood on the street was today dampened by the amount of rain. But not the shows that performed on the High street. If all that's happening needs the shelter of an umbrella you'll stay under an umbrella.
Summer time in Scotland bring a brolly and prepare for snow! Then tomorrow remember your sun tan lotion.
